David Olajide

David is a dynamic branding and communications professional and helps with media relations and strategy for Curzon’s clients. He boasts a proven track record in brand management, content creation, strategy development, media liaison and monitoring.

David started his communications career as a freelance copywriter, before going on to work with MSL in Nigeria, where he grew to lead in content and strategy for the vast array of clients across government, fintech, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and tech. He has led PR and communications efforts for top global brands such as Procter & Gamble, Nokia, Ericson and Dell in Nigeria.

David is a creative writer and a master storyteller. His core expertise is in branding, storytelling, government relations, influencer engagement, digital PR and new media. His experience and love for writing spans over a decade, culminating in publishing his debut Anthology in 2018. David has a degree in Geography and Planning from the University of Lagos and a certificate in Branding and Creativity from IE Business school in Madrid.
