Curzon PR has been signed to support Creative Saskatchewan with a strategic media relations campaign to support their first UK exhibition, Creative Saskatchewan presents ‘Saskatchewan’, held at The Blackall Studios in Shoreditch from 14 – 18 October.

“Creative Saskatchewan is an exciting initiative and we are pleased to work with them in support of their UK exhibition, showcasing the remarkable artistic talent that Saskatchewan has to offer,” says Farzana Baduel, MD of Curzon PR. “Curzon PR looks forward to working with Creative Saskatchewan and the Canadian government in promoting this important exhibition.”

Creative Saskatchewan is a new Canadian government agency set up to boost the awareness of Saskatchewan’s creative talent. This October sees them bringing a wealth of artistic talent to London with their exhibition, themed around the culture, character and history of the Canadian province of Saskatchewan.

Creative Saskatchewan’s mission is to facilitate the commercial development of creative industry producers, entrepreneurs, businesses and associations in realising their economic potential, through business product development and market access. Creative Saskatchewan’s aim is to stimulate the creative industry of the province and bring Saskatchewan’s creative talent to the world.

“We look forward to working with Curzon PR as we bring the art of Saskatchewan to London and in our efforts to promote Saskatchewan art in the UK, in general.” said the exhibition’s curator, Adrian Stimson. “Curzon PR has an excellent reputation and we are sure they will be instrumental in assisting us in our mission to showcase the immense strength, diversity and creativity that sets Saskatchewanian art apart.”

Creative Saskatchewan’s first UK exhibition will see a selection of pieces on display from the province’s artists. The exhibition will celebrate the diversity of Saskatchewan and its vibrant art scene, featuring works from Saskatchewanian artists, including indigenous Métis and European Canadian artists. The exhibition will showcase over 56 works from some of the most exciting and innovative Saskatchewanian artists and will feature a mixture of sculpture, oil-on-canvas, photography, painting and ceramic works.
