OBJECTIVE
Curzon PR worked with Securing Asia to build awareness surrounding its inaugural Homeland Security and Counter Terror Summit and promote it to the international homeland security market, seeking out high level partnerships to facilitate trade between Western security and counter terror suppliers and Asian buyers.
CAMPAIGN
Curzon PR provided branding in order to bring Securing Asia’s image in line with target objectives. A media relations campaign was targeted at international trade, business, political and consumer press to raise awareness and disseminate key messages, while guest list management identified target audiences. Key partnerships were identified and high level diplomatic, academic and business speakers were secured in order to facilitate them.
RESULTS
Securing Asia was covered widely in broadcast and print consumer press, including The Times and Daily Mirror, as a result of the prominent speakers secured for the event. These included the Rt Hon Jack Straw MP and James Brokenshire MP. Guests included members of the House of Commons, House of Lords, international government delegations and embassy officials representing India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Egypt, Malaysia, Vietnam and Jordan. This resulted in 54 trade partnerships with influential market leaders such as RUSI.
