The morning of Thursday 14th November saw Art Select’s Founder and CEO Kaneka Subberwal partake in a panel discussion on ‘Investing In Art’ as part of London’s Russian Art Week 2014. The discussion focused on trends in the global art market and Subberwal offered her expertise on investing, gains and the developing art market.

Russian Art Week is a bi-annual event organised by Russian Art & Culture and the panel discussion, held at Gallery Elena Shchukina in Mayfair, was part of the week’s VIP events. The panel was chaired by Russian Art & Culture Editor Theodora Clarke, who was joined by Kaneka Subberwal, Melanie Gerlis, Art Market Editor of the Art Newspaper and Guy Fraser-Sampson, a private banker who advises high net worth collectors on art acquisitions.
“It was a pleasure to partake in this interesting and invigorating panel discussion,” said Kaneka Subberwal. “Art as an investment, with a particular focus on Middle Eastern and South Asian art, is something that I have been passionate about for a long time.
