Curzon PR continues partnership with The Wave Project to drive awareness of surf therapy

London-based PR firm Curzon PR today announced that it has been reappointed by The Wave Project, the world’s first surf therapy charity, to handle its media relations campaign. This marks the second time that The Wave Project has chosen Curzon PR as its strategic communications partner.

For the last thirteen years, The Wave Project has been running pioneering surf therapy programs across the UK to help children and young people struggling with anxiety and depression. This unique NHS-recognised therapy combines the therapeutic elements of the ocean, the adventure of surfing and supportive culture of acceptance to help reduce anxiety and depression, build trust and friendships, build higher self-esteem, and provide a pathway to a positive future. The charity has supported over 5,000 young people since its inception in 2010.

As part of the media relations campaign, Curzon PR will work closely with The Wave Project’s founder and CEO, Joe Taylor and his team to drive awareness of the charity’s work and mission. The agency will leverage its expertise in strategic media relations and storytelling to highlight the charity’s services to new surfers, volunteers, and donors.

“We are thrilled to be working with The Wave Project again,” said Farzana Baduel, Founder and CEO of Curzon PR. “The charity’s work is truly inspiring, and we are honoured to be supporting such an important cause. We look forward to helping The Wave Project expand its reach and impact and to sharing its powerful message with a wider audience.”

Joe Taylor, founder and CEO of The Wave Project, added:Curzon PR did an outstanding job during our previous collaboration, and we are excited to be working with them again. We believe that their strategic approach and expertise in media relations will help us achieve our goals and make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.”

The partnership between The Wave Project and Curzon PR reflects both organisations’ commitment to positively impacting society and promoting mental health awareness.
